It doesn't look it, but this is the best place to get teriyaki chicken around here, delicious food every time and you get quite a bit for the price.

Their chicken teriyaki plate is *very* tasty, and you get quite a large portion for $11.

Food was so fresh. Piping hot and good quality chicken, healthy sized portions that could easily be split into two meals!

I ordered chicken teriyaki with spring rolls-delicious! Chicken was well seasoned and not dry; I really liked their teriyaki sauce-well balanced and slightly sweet side (but not too sweet); good steamed white rice and cones with shall salad with white dressing. Two spring rolls were tasty with nice crunch Another order was chicken yakisoba. Good, but this wasn't typical yakisoba I've had...because their noodle was an orange color. While I enjoyed strips of chickens with crunchy broccoli and onions, trying to figure it out the flavor...and I came to a conclusion that this noodle dish has some influence of Japanese-style-spaghetti "Napolitan" dish!! It's like Napolitan and yakisoba had a child. Like others commented Ted, it's a small takeout only place with friendly & efficient staff. Plenty of street parking to grab-and-go when I called ahead and pjs Ed my order. I recommend it.

My kid lives near this tiny take-out restaurant and gets dinner here every 1-2 weeks. She and her beau say the food is great and reasonably priced and the portions are huge. So we decided to get a few dishes tonight as no-one wants to cook the day before Thanksgiving (right??!). I went with her to pick up the meals. The place is small but really quirky and cute, with lots of plants and greenery. (I was surprised to read that someone complained about the plants in their review. Really? Who doesn't like plants?). And yes, the place felt cluttered, with the plants and the desk of condiments and chairs to sit on as you wait for your meals to be prepared. The place won't win any medals in Architectural Digest. But I thought it was quirky, and cute, and it is quintessentially Portland. (And when I was there, there was absolutely no odors in the place, as another reviewer wrote. If the place smelled bad, there's no WAY ON EARTH my kid or I would ever patronize the place!). And the food was great. We got my kid and her boyfriends' usual teriyaki beef and we also got orange chicken (both these meals came with rice), and also my kid's favorite yakisoba noodles (omg they are so good. I have no idea what seasoning they use, but these noodles are reddish in color and taste amazingly good). The portions are humongous and easily enough for 2-3 meals. We like supporting local businesses. And this one is great!

Not gonna lie - we were hesitant to try this place because of some of the reviews. Finally decided to just give it a whirl - and it was great! We called and pre-ordered for pick up. It was ready really quickly. We had spicy chicken with gyoza and teriyaki chicken with egg rolls. $22 out the door and the huge portions lasted two of us for three meals each! Everything tastes great - the chicken, sides, rice and green salad with lovely dressing... We were very pleased and will be back!
